About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in a leadership capacity. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for assisting our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in preparing financial reports and statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and coordinating monthly and annual accounting closings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Assist the CFO in preparing monthly and annual financial reports and statements for the executive team to ensure compliance with various statutory requirements, generally accepted accounting principles, and established policies and procedures.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage and support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the collection process.
  • Accounting Closings: Coordinate monthly and annual accounting closings.
  • General Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job cost monthly.
  • Technical Accounting Support: Provide technical accounting support to operations and sales staff with management of service and project contracts.
  • Insurance Renewals: Assist CFO with annual business insurance renewals.
  • Accounting Policies and Procedures: Assist with developing, reviewing, and updating accounting policies, procedures, checklists, and related documentation concerning assigned functions and responsibilities.
  • Internal Control Safeguards: Maintain internal control safeguards as related to project financial information.
