ResponsibilitiesGeneral Function:
The function of this position is to provide direct assistance to the Consumer Real Estate Servicing Department, specifically Property Preservation workflow, and must comply with bank and investor guidelines in the collection, maintenance and legal aspects of delinquent and current portfolio and investor mortgage loans.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance to borrowers and vendors, as related to property preservation
- Draft memorandums, letters, and other necessary documents
- Establish and maintain department files and records
- Prepare, review, and act on generated reports by CBNA or vendors, primarily delinquent property tax reports
- Prepare and/or review invoices for third party payouts
- Research, track, and follow-up on borrower adherence with paying their property taxes
- Monitor borrower accounts to minimize bank's risk, and ensure compliance with local municipalities, state, federal, and vendor regulations
- Support management and senior staff with ordering and reviewing of delinquent real estate accounts' inspections, and executing remedial work for accounts to adhere to regulatory property maintenance guidelines
- Order and evaluate appraisals as requested by management and authorized staff
- Assist with miscellaneous property request workflows from borrowers and entities; evaluating and processing total residential total loss claims for management determination; requests for mortgage conversion, modifications with large down payments and PMI cancellation requests
- Conduct/assist with above responsibilities for both portfolio and investor accounts
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner
Ancillary Duties:
As an integral member of the Consumer Real Estate Servicing Department, this position is also responsible to provide assistance wherever necessary to help the Consumer Real Estate Servicing Department and the bank in achieving their annual goals.
QualificationsEducation, Training and Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required
- A.A. or A.S. degree with business field of study strongly preferred
Skills:
- Proficient reading, writing, and grammar skills
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Thorough knowledge of Excel
- Proficient communication skills
- Ability to create, implement and maintain workflows based on regulatory guidelines
- Highly organized and detailed oriented
- Results driven with competency to meet demands of proficiency, effectiveness, and efficiency
- Ability to analyze data from reports and workbooks

Experience:
- Two (2) years collections, property management, and/or delinquent property tax management experience preferred
Hours: 40 hours/week; Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30; some overtime may be required including weekends and Holidays
Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
