Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist Coordinator to join our team at Froedtert Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient leadership of the assigned surgical service(s).

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in decision making and problem solving to assure high quality patient care and surgeon satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate organizing and coordinating skills to ensure seamless surgical procedures.
  • Assist the Surgeon, RN, and Anesthesiologist in the care of patients in the Operating Room.
  • Evaluate and acquire surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years Surgical Technologist experience is required.
  • Completion of a Surgical Technologist program, Military Operating Room Specialist course, or Froedtert Health sponsored apprentice II program is required.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required.
  • Surgical Technologist certification is required.
