Job Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services.

Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the nursing staff, ensuring the best patient care possible, and assisting the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise nursing services for the facility during shifts in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, Facility policies, and procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist nurses with patients during acute episodes.
  • Deal with employee problems on a timely basis and document actions.
  • Assume on-call responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High school graduate.
  • Registered Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. Current, valid license from North Carolina Board of Nursing and submit proof of license renewal every other year.
  • Provide quality-nursing care to patients, follow doctor orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certified yearly.
  • Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.
  • Ability to supervise nursing staff assuring that work assignments are completed appropriately and timely.
  • Read, know, and follow personnel, department, and Facility policies and procedures and adhere to local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Long Term Care experience preferred.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience.
