Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Heartland Women's Group. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and canceling patient appointments
  • Checking-in and checking-out patients
  • Entering charges and payments
  • Answering the telephone
  • Verifying patient insurance and demographics
  • Collection of co-payments/coinsurance and personal balances
Requirements
  • One year of Medical Assisting or other direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting
  • Medical Assistant Certification - required
