Henry Ford Health is seeking a visionary leader to head its Pediatric Gastroenterology Division. As a key member of the Department of Pediatrics, this individual will play a crucial role in shaping the future of pediatric gastroenterology care at Henry Ford Health.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development of the Pediatric Gastroenterology Division, including the creation of centers of excellence in IBD, Nutrition, Celiac, Hepatobiliary and Pancreas, Airway, EOE and Food Allergy, Neurogastroenterology, and other areas.
- Drive academic and clinical components of the division's growth, including research collaborations with Michigan State University and Wayne State University.
- Provide clinical care, including ambulatory and inpatient services, consultative services, and performance of general GI procedures.
- Supervise and educate medical students and residents, ensuring the development of competent pediatric gastroenterologists.
- M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree, or equivalent.
- Completion of an ACGME-approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
- Licensed by the Michigan Medical Board.
- Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology medicine (or eligible for same).
