We are currently in search of a proficient and driven Warehouse Supervisor to enhance our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in warehouse oversight, manufacturing processes, logistics management, and team leadership within a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee, schedule, and coordinate all operations within the shipping and receiving warehouse as well as primary packaging departments.
  • Lead team members, conducting performance evaluations, providing guidance, and facilitating training.
  • Manage the receipt, identification, and storage of raw materials and finished products.
  • Utilize computer systems to input and retrieve inventory data.
  • Ensure the final preparation of goods for shipping and receiving is completed accurately.
  • Maintain all necessary documentation related to warehouse operations.
  • Facilitate and expedite the flow of materials and components across departments.
  • Set and communicate completion timelines for deliverables to relevant departments.
  • Supervise the primary and final packaging and shipping processes of finished products according to established protocols.
  • Ensure the accurate receipt of all incoming materials and packaging supplies.
  • Oversee the efficient storage of all production inventory.
  • Collaborate with the Materials Control Manager to conduct periodic closing and annual inventory checks.
  • Propose enhancements in packaging and material handling to the Industrial Engineering Department.
  • Utilize forklifts and other material handling equipment to move and store materials and finished goods.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving within a manufacturing context.
  • Forklift operation experience is essential; certification and a valid driver's license are required.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities are necessary.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, or 5S methodologies is preferred.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO/QS/TS standards is advantageous.
