Job Title: Senior Care Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Care Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing hands-on care, physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care to residents with varying needs and abilities.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Administer medications accurately and safely using the six rights of medication administration.
  • Document resident information, including medical history, medication lists, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in care planning and service plan development to ensure resident-centered care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect resident autonomy and dignity.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other staff members to provide comprehensive care.
  • Respond to emergencies and situations that require immediate attention.

Requirements:

  • Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent experience.
  • Current QMA certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of experience in long-term care or geriatric settings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform duties that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
