Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at STRIDE Community Health Center. As a primary care specialist, you will provide medical screenings and primary care to our patients, ensuring efficient and quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct health care services to patients, including medical screenings and primary care.
  • Offer clinical consultation and arrange referrals to other providers and clinical staff.
  • Review lab and x-ray results of other providers' patient care results.
  • Prescribe medications to patients, including counseling on proper use and contraindications.
  • Evaluate medical charts to determine appropriate patient care follow-up and education on acute and chronic illnesses.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and/or Physician Assistant Program.
  • Emergency Room or Urgent Care experience preferred.
  • Proficient with procedures such as sutures, splinting, wound care, I&D, etc.
  • Family Practice Certification.
  • Board certification.
  • CO License or eligible for licensure.
