About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our team at Sysco, the global leader in foodservice distribution. This role will involve building relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business for Sysco's products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales performance
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; 4-year degree in culinary arts, business, marketing, agriculture/animal science or related studies preferred
  • 2-year prior food service sales and/or culinary background strongly preferred
  • Deep expertise of meat and seafood category or restaurant/culinary background with a shown capacity to quickly learn and apply new knowledge
  • Consultative sales ability
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with MS Outlook
