Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality laboratory services under limited supervision, performing tests on body fluids and exudates to provide information for diagnosing and combating infectious diseases.
- Provide laboratory services to meet the needs of patients, performed in accordance with accepted standards and practices.
- Build collaborative professional relationships to create quality healthcare.
- Work independently in a professional team-oriented environment.
- Perform testing within approved guidelines to meet turnaround time standards and maintain quality patient care.
- Perform and interpret various testing procedures on donor and hospital specimens, and blood products.
- Provide information for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
- 1 year experience in a hospital setting.
- MT, AAB, AMT, ASCP, or NCA certification.
- College Degree or equivalent years of experience required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience or recent graduate of an approved program.
