About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Visiting Ancillary Services. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in their procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Dentist: Provide support to our dentists during procedures, handing them instruments and anticipating their needs to ensure a smooth and efficient appointment.
  • Prepare Examination Rooms: Set up examination rooms for appointments, ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for the dentist.
  • Instrument Sterilization: Sterilize instruments to maintain a high level of hygiene and infection control.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 2 years' experience in dental assisting, with a strong understanding of dental procedures and protocols.
  • Compassion and Integrity: Demonstrate a high level of compassion and honesty, with impeccable integrity in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate computer skills, with experience using Denticon a plus. X-Ray and CPR certification also required.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel daily to different facilities, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Demands
