Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient referrals, creating patient profiles, and communicating with healthcare providers.

• Referral Review and Processing
  • Review referral contents to ensure complete and accurate information is received
  • Verify patient and provider information for accuracy
• Patient Profile Management
  • Create patient profiles from scanned or faxed images
  • Enter correct patient and provider information
• Prescription Verification
  • Conduct initial checks of prescriptions for clinical accuracy
  • Communicate with providers regarding prescription clarification or missing information
• Communication and Documentation
  • Update concise progress notes to ensure other roles can quickly assess referral status
  • Enter new provider information

• 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience
• Active TSBP certification
