Position Overview:
- Prior experience in electrical work, basic construction, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration is advantageous.
- Candidates should have access to basic tools, reliable transportation, and possess a fundamental understanding of communication and computer skills.
- The HVAC and Refrigeration Technician Apprentice will be responsible for:
  • Assisting with preventive maintenance on commercial kitchen refrigeration and HVAC systems.
  • Supporting troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance tasks for HVAC and food preparation equipment.
  • Conducting routine inspections to identify and address potential issues.
  • Assisting in diagnosing electrical and mechanical problems within HVAC systems.
  • Following safety protocols and procedures diligently.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, or diagrams for installation and operational purposes.

Key Qualifications and Experience:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training.
  • Willingness to learn and embrace training and development opportunities.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Dependability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in warm environments.
  • Previous experience in HVAC is a plus.
  • HVAC and refrigerant certification is beneficial.
  • Willingness to work weekends and occasional nights.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to take ownership of responsibilities.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and show initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations.
  • Able to lift over 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Compensation Range: $22-$26 per hour.
