Job Overview

Position Title: Robotic Welding Technician

The Robotic Welding Technician will interpret technical drawings and work instructions, configure products on the robotic welding apparatus, and program as well as operate the robotic welding systems. Responsibilities also include inspecting, grinding, and finishing components to ensure they meet quality standards. Manual welding tasks, primarily using MIG techniques, may also be required. All employees are expected to be versatile and may be called upon to assist in other areas as needed, such as press operation, fabrication, or basic assembly tasks depending on workload demands.

This role is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with an initial duration of 90 days.

Work Environment

This position is entirely on-site. The work environment is a manufacturing facility that can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Candidates who demonstrate commitment can advance within the company. The plant manager began in an entry-level role, and the organization prioritizes employee development through training, education, and certification opportunities. Core values include Respect, Integrity, Humility, and Teamwork. The successful candidate will initially be the sole welder on the second shift and must be capable of working independently after training. Lifting over 40 lbs will require assistance from a colleague. Tasks may be performed independently. The company operates as a job shop for metal stamping, resulting in a variety of job tasks. Dress Code: Employees are required to wear layers, long work pants, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses. Hearing protection, gloves, and protective sleeves will be provided. The facility is loud.
