Position Overview
The Mass General Brigham is seeking a proactive and collaborative Research Program Manager to oversee various aspects of research initiatives focused on burn rehabilitation. This role will operate under the guidance of the Principal Investigator and will involve significant interaction with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
The Research Program Manager will play a vital role in the coordination and facilitation of research activities, ensuring effective communication between the Principal Investigator, collaborating institutions, and funding agencies. Specific responsibilities include:
- Establishing and nurturing professional relationships with clinicians and research staff from partner institutions.
- Acting as a liaison to external stakeholders, including organizations that represent the burn survivor community.
- Assisting in the preparation of grant proposals, including writing, budgeting, and administrative tasks.
- Collaborating with other program managers on knowledge dissemination and conference planning.
- Training and supervising research coordinators and students to support clinical study operations.
- Conducting regular meetings with study staff to review management strategies and recruitment efforts.
- Ensuring accurate data collection and integrity in compliance with study protocols.
- Overseeing the development of educational materials and dissemination products related to burn rehabilitation.
- Managing the program's online presence and social media outreach.
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements for human subjects research.
- Preparing reports for funding agencies and managing financial aspects of research projects.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in research project management.
- A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to new software.
