Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Stratas Foods. This role will be responsible for coordinating payroll, recruiting, and benefits-related issues, as well as assisting the Human Resource Operations Manager with various administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with supervisors and managers to process and review payroll timely and accurately.
  • Monitor the time clock system to ensure data accuracy.
  • Serve as the point person for all payroll-related issues and concerns.
  • Process new hires and terminations, including E-Verify and NARF's.
  • Communicate benefit plans to employees.
  • Lead the recruiting process for hourly positions.
  • Record information for affirmative action plans.
  • Maintain employee HR files.
  • Assist employees with self-service and other self-help resources.
  • Process and verify payment of invoices.
  • Assist with audits.
  • On-board new employees.
  • Administer and track training courses.
  • Serve as the point person for FMLA and other leave issues.
  • Participate in implementing HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in Business preferred.
  • 2-3 years of HR, attendance tracking, recruiting, and payroll experience.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
Work Environment

This is a manufacturing environment that requires sitting, walking, and climbing. Good listening skills and public speaking abilities are necessary for communicating with both hourly and salaried personnel.
