Job Summary:

San Jacinto College is seeking a qualified Part-Time Faculty member to teach Audio Engineering related course work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio engineering and be able to effectively communicate with students.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Audio Engineering related courses to students.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback.
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in audio engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Audio Engineering or a related field.
  • At least two (2) years' experience in audio engineering.
  • Knowledge of MAC based software to include Digital Performer, Reason and Pro Tools.

Working Conditions:

Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College. This may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.
