Opportunity Details

Northwest Children's Hospital at Northwest Texas Healthcare System is seeking a board-certified pediatric surgeon to join our team as an employed faculty member. As a pediatric surgeon, you will provide surgical services to children at our hospital in Amarillo, TX.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a collegial and tight-knit community of residents and faculty at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) at Amarillo. Our department is known for its strong reputation in the region and includes general pediatrics and pediatric subspecialties.

Responsibilities
  • Provide pediatric surgical services to children at our hospital
  • Participate in the education and training of residents and medical students
  • Contribute to the development of clinical programs and services
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Qualifications
  • Board certification in pediatric surgery
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited surgical residency program
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited pediatric surgery fellowship
  • Exemplary clinical skills, a team spirit, and interest in teaching
