Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gymnastics Instructor I to join our team at the Andover YMCA. As a Gymnastics Instructor I, you will be responsible for providing gymnastics instruction to individuals of all ages and skill levels, while ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver gymnastics lessons to participants of all ages and skill levels.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of gymnastics programs and events.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to participants to help them improve their skills and achieve their goals.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for participants, including setting up and putting away equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and staff to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum age of 18.
  • Minimum two years' experience teaching gymnastics or a related sport.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
