Job Overview

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our ICU team in a locum capacity. The role involves providing advanced critical care to patients during night shifts. You will work closely with a Critical Care physician available on-call for backup and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage critically ill patients in an inpatient ICU setting.
  • Perform required procedures, including Central lines, Arterial lines, Intubations, and Paracentesis (as needed).
  • Ensure thorough documentation and communication with the healthcare team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Licensure: Active Washington State license required.
  • Certification: Board certification is required.
  • Experience: Prior ICU experience is mandatory.
  • Candidates with ARNP, ACNP, or FNP certifications will be considered based on experience. AGACNP certification preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in performing ICU-specific procedures as listed above.
