About the Role

The Senior Personal Banker will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences in a dual role function. This role will provide an outstanding in-branch customer experience by handling every customer need, including sales and service, consumer loan origination, and teller transactions as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service while identifying sales opportunities and promoting bank products or services to customers.
  • Build relationships with customers by actively monitoring their status and promoting business growth and service quality.
  • Effectively listen to customers, identify their needs, and expand and deepen customer relationships.
  • Adapt to differences in customers and respond to verbal and non-verbal cues.
  • Present solutions to customers through product benefits, establish a clear difference, overcome resistance, ask for the business, complete the sale, nurture relationships, and establish methods for follow-up.
  • Work collaboratively with the banking team to achieve customer service and sales objectives.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, associate or bachelor's Degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales and customer service.
  • Previous teller or cash handling and consumer loan experience preferred.

Compensation

The targeted salary range for this role is $28.05. HTLF offers competitive and varied benefits to eligible employees, including paid time off, a 401(k) matching program, annual incentive pay, paid holidays, and a comprehensive company-sponsored benefit plan.
