About the Role:
The Staff Psychiatrist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated and integrated medically managed outpatient care to clients at Mountainside Wilton. This involves providing direct care to assigned clients, monitoring current practices and Addiction Medicine services, and contributing to addiction treatment initiatives.

Responsibilities:
* Weekly meetings with the multi-disciplinary team for case consults and review of program and policy needs
* Co-Signing assigned Document Reviews in a timely manner
* Acting as a resource to the Clinical team in providing education and information pertinent to addiction treatment
* Upholding client confidentiality rules and regulations
* Maintaining compliance with Relias Training and other educational requirements
* Maintaining current medical license, DEA certifications, CDS, Controlled Substance Registrations, CPR certification, and Malpractice insurance
* Maintaining client medical health records according to regulatory and accreditation institutions
* Preparing required reports and completing required paperwork as it relates to programs and services

Requirements:
* MD Degree - licensed physician in Connecticut certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Psychiatry
* Completion of a US-accredited residency program
* Board Certification as applicable
* Minimum two years of experience in addiction treatment in a clinical setting
* Current CT license and completed staffing requirements
* Experience in addiction and co-occurring disorders
* Current CPR certification

Compensation:
The base rate of pay for this position is $2,000 to $12,000 monthly. Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
