Job Title: Cloud Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Software Engineer to join our team at ManTech. As a Cloud Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining next-generation cloud-based systems using Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software solutions using Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software.
  • Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
  • Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
  • Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
  • Review and debug code.
  • Perform validation and verification testing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products.
  • Document development phases and monitor systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 3 years of experience in software development/engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more languages (e.g. Go, Python, Java).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles.
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, containerd) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Helm).
  • One or more of the following certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
  • Must have current/active TS/SCI w Polygraph.
Clearance Requirements:

Must have current/active TS/SCI w Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
