About the RoleThe Talent Xpert, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Oncology team in Plano, Texas. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients undergoing cancer treatments, managing their symptoms, and supporting them through their recovery process.
Key Responsibilities- Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed by the oncologist.
- Monitor patients for reactions and side effects of treatments.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families about cancer treatments and side effects.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate treatment protocols and patient progress.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current and valid nursing license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications within 30 days of hire.
- A minimum of five years of RN experience in the NICU, including charge nurse responsibilities.
