Job Summary and Qualifications
As a skilled Outpatient Pre-Operative RN, you will play a crucial role in facilitating pre-admission processes for patients scheduled for surgical procedures.

Under the guidance of the Manager, you will collaborate with team members to ensure the operating room is thoroughly prepared for upcoming surgeries.

Our team is dedicated to supporting one another, and we seek a compassionate nurse who shares our commitment to exceptional patient care.


In this role, you will:


- Perform general nursing responsibilities and demonstrate proficiency in all operating room procedures as validated by specific competencies.
- Ensure efficient room turnover and patient flow.
- Complete all necessary documentation and electronic charting to guarantee accurate and timely patient records and billing.
- Utilize your experience to anticipate and fulfill the needs of the surgical team.
- Facilitate communication among patients, surgeons, operating room staff, families, and other departments as required.

- Assess patient progress and responses to nursing interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Adhere to patient and employee safety protocols, including hand hygiene, universal precautions, personal protective equipment usage, and isolation procedures.
- Maintain professionalism and composure, particularly in high-pressure situations.


What qualifications you will need:
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Utah.

- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, along with Advanced Life Support (ALS or ACLS) certification.
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in a relevant specialty or related field.

- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment commencement.
