About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Multilingual HR Coordinator to join our team at Wakefield, one of our largest production facilities. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for cross-training in various HR areas while focusing on specific responsibilities. Your primary duties will include administrative tasks, assisting employees, employee recognition, benefit enrollment, recruitment, retention, compliance, communications, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with administration of various human resources programs and functions.
  • Provide receptionist front desk coverage, including greeting visitors and redirecting calls.
  • Track attendance and issue discipline notices.
  • Manage service awards, update job descriptions and postings as needed.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including posting vacancies, conducting interviews, and managing pre-employment processes.
  • Coordinate recognition initiatives, leave of absence management, anniversary and birthday calendars, employee meals, and events.
  • Conduct exit interviews and stay interviews, and implement retention strategies.
  • Handle new hire benefit enrollments, annual enrollments, and insurance inquiries.
  • Ensure company bulletin boards and postings are current.
  • Perform administrative duties, including data entry, phone answering, photocopying, faxing, filing, and more.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with excellent English oral and written communication skills. Bilingual Spanish proficiency is desired. You should also possess basic math skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective follow-up, problem-solving, communication, creativity, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computer programs, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required. A valid driver's license is preferred. Experience in HR and clerical roles is an asset. Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year.
