Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement vehicle testing strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve engineering issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage validation planning and execution, including engine and vehicle builds, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Lead technical and analytical discussions with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product requirements and testing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, test reports, and technical specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial class 8 fleet trucks, trailers, and on-highway norms.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiar with calibration tools like INCA and Canalyzer.
  • Familiar with performing software updates with service tools like Cummins InSIte, SDS, or other service tools.
  • Familiar with CAN based datalinks and communication protocols.

Preferred Skills:

  • Aptitude for troubleshooting issues in an ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to identify root cause, contain, and permanently correct engineering issues.
  • EV and/or Diesel experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in-person, on the phone, and by email.
