KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Arrive on time and be ready at the designated prep station as per the schedule.

• Maintain a clean and professional uniform in accordance with restaurant standards.

• Uphold high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness throughout your shifts.

• Prepare food items, equipment, and supplies necessary for efficient kitchen operations.

• Report any issues or discrepancies to the Sous Chef or Chef promptly.

• Assist fellow kitchen staff with food preparation and other tasks as needed.

• Ensure all food products are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including prep tables and storage units.

• Follow safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.

• Support other kitchen roles as required to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.

• Complete all closing duties at the end of each shift and assist in maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to stand and move efficiently for extended periods.

• Capable of bending, kneeling, and reaching frequently during shifts.

• Effective communication skills to interact with supervisors, team members, and guests.

• Ability to distinguish flavors and aromas to ensure food quality.

• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and environments typical of a kitchen.

• Adherence to safety protocols, including the use of protective equipment.

• Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least one year of experience in a similar role within a full-service dining establishment is preferred.

• Familiarity with fresh ingredients is advantageous.

• Experience handling high-volume service is beneficial.

• Must possess effective communication skills in English.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
