Job Summary:
Norton Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist Professional to join our clinical team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal therapeutic outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense, compound, label, store, and ensure the proper use of pharmaceutical preparations.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the department and direct the Pharmacy Technicians.
- Advance the goals of Norton Healthcare by providing exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of excellence.
- Exercise leadership in all matters related to the medication use process for patients of all ages.
- Provide pharmacy-related education to pharmacists, technicians, other healthcare practitioners, and the public.
- Support and facilitate the Quality Improvement (QI) process through ongoing development and monitoring of performance improvement indicators.
- Grow and facilitate Pharmacy work teams to meet quality, clinical standards of care.
- Assist the Director in providing effective and efficient use of all resources and ensuring budget and value proposition targets are met.
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor Degree, Pharmacist licensure.
- Desired: Doctorate Degree, Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.
