We are seeking a highly skilled Principal or Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join our team in Rancho Bernardo, CA. This position will be in our Systems Engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities:


• Supporting cross-IPT development of system and segment level requirements and use cases

• Implementing requirements verification methodology and traceability

• Supporting development of interface definitions and integration plans

• Conducting formal integration and support capabilities-based system level testing of fully integrated complex software and hardware subsystems

• Evaluating integration and test anomalies and assist disposition and correction of issues as found

• Performing requirements verification and selloff

• Providing support to flight test and fielded assets

Requirements:


• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 5 years of related systems engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related systems engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related systems engineering experience.

• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment, Action Oriented, Strong Attention to Detail, Communicates Effectively


• Familiarity with systems engineering development processes and activities (such as but not limited to requirements and verification development and interface control document development)

• Active in-Scope, DoD Top Secret clearance.

• Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR) prior to commencement of employment and must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current PAR access to program

• Experience in Data as a Service (DaaS) activities

• Demonstrated communication and technical writing skills.

• Proven ability to brief technical presentations to stakeholders.

• Experience in DOORS & Atlassian Tool Suite

Salary Range: $107,300 - $160,900
Salary Range 2: $133,000 - $199,600
