Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Specialist to join our team at Frontera Search Partners. As an Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and safety.
Job Summary:
The Imaging Specialist is responsible for preparing patients for radiologic procedures, operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
About the Role:
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by providing clear instructions and assisting with positioning
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients by following established protocols and regulations
- Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order and report any malfunctions to the Practice Manager or supervisor
- Perform related administrative duties, including completing necessary forms and maintaining procedure logs
- Retrieve radiologic orders from and input related data into the electronic medical record
- Maintain adequate radiologic supplies
Requirements:
- ARRT Certification
- Proficiency in PET scan, CT, and X-Ray
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Experience in mammography and DEXA scan
- Previous experience in urgent care and emergency medicine
Benefits:
- $30-$35 per hour
- 4x10 schedule, Monday-Friday 8am-7pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, and Sunday 12p-4p
- Every other weekend (Sat 9a-5p, Sun 12p-4p)
- Patient Volume: 5-35 scans/day
- We are accepting students who are willing to work weekends or pick up shifts throughout the week
- Sign-on bonus: $2000 w/ 2-year commitment or $1000 w/ 1-year commitment
