At Lockheed Martin Corporation, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and innovation. As an Integrated Program Planner, you'll play a critical role in driving the success of our space missions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with program and senior management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance
  • Develop compliant integrated program schedules that accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy
  • Ensure all commitments are tracked, monitored, and statused
  • Prepare and coordinate the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response
  • Interface with program management, senior management, and the customer as the program's planning integrator
  • Ensure vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts
  • Devise modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments
  • Utilize performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of previous planning/scheduling experience
  • Experience with a planning tool (e.g. Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Acumen, One Pager Pro, Primavera, Excel, or another comparable tool)
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts such as critical path analysis, cost/schedule integration, performance metrics, and program start-up activities
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous EVM experience
  • Experience performing critical path analysis
  • Understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of a spacecraft/satellite program
  • Understanding of the Program Performance Management Process
  • Demonstrated competency in integrating cost/schedule
  • Prior team lead experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team
  • Strong sense of follow-up and closure with attention to detail
  • Self-starter able to operate with minimal guidance
  • Desire and willingness to support dynamic proposal activities
  • Strong influencing and relationship management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve challenges arising in dynamic situations
  • Makes sound decisions quickly and efficiently, even with limited information or under time constraints
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and demonstrates a willingness to adjust to changing priorities
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
