POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking motivated individuals for the role of Assemblers/Electronic Wirers. This entry-level position involves the fabrication and assembly of electrical systems and their supporting structures. Comprehensive training will be provided, and prior experience is not necessary. Note that the second shift offers an 8% shift premium.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble electrical or electronic systems along with their support structures.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace components to rectify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Interpret schematic drawings and work orders to ascertain material needs and assembly instructions.
  • Connect electrical wiring between components following wiring prints, specification sheets, and Bills of Material.
  • Accurately measure and cut wires to specified lengths.
  • Label and tag components for effective inventory tracking.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment, including packaging and minor touch-ups.
  • Assist in loading products as necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area through regular housekeeping duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Tools Used: Proficient use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, strippers, crimpers, and tape measures.
  • Certification: Ability to obtain and maintain a fork truck license if necessary.
  • Skills: Capable of learning to read tape measures and electrical point-to-point prints.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred but not mandatory.
  • Language Proficiency: Ability to read and understand moderately complex instructions, write simple notes, and effectively communicate with coworkers.
  • Attendance: Regular attendance during scheduled shifts is required, with the possibility of overtime.
