Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Highland-Clarksburg Hospital. As a key member of our behavioral health team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological assessments, testing, and evaluations for adults, adolescents, and children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough biopsychosocial evaluations, psychometric tests, semi-structured interviews, therapy sessions, and neuropsychological assessments to inform diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and diagnosis, in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Provide referrals for additional care evaluation or treatment as needed, and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient services, adhering to relevant ethical and professional standards of care.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in clinical psychology, and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in psychology with a minimum of three years' experience, or Doctorate in Psychology with a minimum of two years' experience in providing psychological support to adult and child populations.
  • Experience in psychological testing and assessment, with a working knowledge of diagnostic techniques and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
  • West Virginia Board of Examiners of Psychologists licensure, with Supervised, licensed, or license-eligible status in WV.
