Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP is a leading international law firm with a reputation for excellence and commitment to its clients. We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Development Coordinator to join our Restructuring group.

About the Position

This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate with a unique chance to contribute to the growth and development of our team. As a Professional Development Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing support to the Restructuring Professional Development Manager and group, assisting with rotator and lateral integration, and supporting various initiatives such as mentoring, training programs, and social events.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Restructuring Professional Development Manager and group, including managing calendars, tracking data, and coordinating meetings.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of rotator and lateral integration initiatives, including mentorship programs and training sessions.
  • Support the development and implementation of innovative solutions to enhance the professional development of associates and counsel within the Restructuring group.
  • Collaborate with other offices and staff to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters open communication and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience in data analysis and presentation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to inspire confidence among associates and firm leaders.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and market conditions. Davis Polk offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
