We are seeking a skilled Trainer and Retention Specialist to join our team at Project Renewal.

As a key member of our Next Step program, you will be responsible for facilitating workshops designed to enhance the soft skills necessary for clients to succeed in the workplace.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in workshop facilitation and workforce development. You will work closely with our Program Coordinator to develop and implement new workshops as needed by new contracts, employers, and clients' needs.

  • Facilitate job readiness workshops to prepare clients for their internship opportunity and the job market
  • Provide one-on-one job readiness support, including mock interviews and resume/cover letter development
  • Assist clients with computer skills and online job search

You will also manage a caseload of employed clients who have successfully completed the program and provide ongoing job retention services that meet program goals.

  • Manage employment data, including wage increases, promotions, resignations, and terminations
  • Generate reports and statistics to track client progress

The successful candidate will possess excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $54,000 per year.
