We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Peer Recovery Specialist to join our Early Intervention and Support Services team at Saint Clare's Health System.
Key Responsibilities- Provide education and support to individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Assist individuals in their recovery journey, utilizing personal experience and expertise.
- Collaborate with the Early Intervention and Support Services team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Lived experience related to mental health or substance use concern.
- Ability to identify steps that have advanced own successful recovery.
- One of the following: paid work experience in a mental health or substance use disorder setting, volunteer experience, or Peer Recovery Specialist Certification.
- PREFERRED: NJ Driver's License with capacity to drive a hospital vehicle.
