As a Peer Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in the Early Intervention and Support Services team, focusing on the co-occurring population. Your primary responsibility will be to provide education and support to individuals struggling with substance use disorders, helping them achieve their recovery goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate as a member of the Early Intervention and Support Services team
  • Focus on the co-occurring population, providing education and support to assist individuals towards their recovery

Qualifications:

  • Lived experience related to a mental health or substance use concern
  • Ability to identify steps that have advanced your own successful recovery
  • Paid work experience in a mental health or substance use disorder setting, or volunteer experience in a similar setting
  • A NJ Drivers License with capacity to drive a hospital vehicle (preferred)
