About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Visually Impaired Teacher to provide high-quality education and support to students with visual impairments at Collierville Schools. The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively with parents and colleagues, and have a passion for teaching and learning.

Responsibilities:
- Teach special skills as needed, including braille, typing, writing, daily living, and prevocational skills
- Develop goals and objectives for individual students and work directly with them to achieve these goals
- Coordinate with resources to order, catalog, distribute, and file materials

Requirements:
- Master's degree or higher in Special Education or related field
- Valid Tennessee teaching credential authorizing specialized services for the visually impaired

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
