The Family Health Center is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registration Coordinator I to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient patient registration process.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome patients and visitors, answer inquiries, and maintain the reception area.
- Schedule appointments in person or by telephone, optimizing patient satisfaction and provider time.
- Notify providers of patient arrivals and inform patients of delays.
- Comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties and answering their questions.
- Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and billing information.
- Collect and record patient payments.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment by anticipating needed supplies and expediting orders.
- Protect patient confidentiality by maintaining the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
- Receive and distribute incoming, outgoing, and interoffice mail.
- Ensure the availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
- Respond to emergencies and assist patients in distress.
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Knowledge of software applications and administrative procedures.
- Proficient in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language skills.
- Proficient in keyboarding, data entry, and business writing.
This position requires a clean, well-lighted, and ventilated office environment.
Pay Range$16.54 per hour
