About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and Administer Radiopharmaceuticals: Under the supervision of the diagnostic imaging services medical director and department director, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and administering radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic studies, as per specific physician orders and department policies and procedures.
  • Perform and Assist with Nuclear Medicine Studies: You will perform and assist with nuclear medicine studies, ensuring that all necessary protocols are followed and that patients receive the highest level of care.
  • Maintain Patient Safety Protocols: You will be responsible for maintaining all federal, state, local, and regulatory agency requirements, as well as participating in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.

Requirements
  • Graduation from an Approved School of Radiologic Technology: You must have graduated from an approved school of radiologic technology and be certified in diagnostic radiology or nuclear medicine.
  • Current BLS Certification: You must hold current BLS certification and be able to take call/standby in nuclear medicine and NNMC as needed.
