Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of prescription dispensing, and promoting a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Patient Care: Engage with patients to understand their medication needs, provide education on proper medication use, and offer guidance on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Dispense Prescriptions: Accurately and efficiently dispense prescriptions, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Operate Pharmacy Systems: Utilize pharmacy software and technology systems to manage inventory, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with pharmacy staff to ensure seamless operations, provide support and guidance, and foster a positive team environment.
  • Stay Current with Industry Developments: Maintain knowledge of the latest pharmacy practices, regulations, and technologies to provide exceptional patient care and promote business growth.
Requirements
  • Pharmacist Licensure: Current licensure in the state(s) within the district.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacist degree from an accredited educational institution, with at least 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
  • Certifications: Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
