Environmental Geologist or Scientist

We are looking for a motivated, bright, and talented Environmental Geologist or Scientist to join our company in our Butte, Montana office. This role involves working alongside experienced engineers, technical specialists, and scientists from across our practice to help clients address their water and environmental challenges.

• Collecting samples of soil, groundwater, and other environmental media in support of site investigation and remediation objectives.
• Installing monitoring wells, performing remediation monitoring, and overseeing contractors.
• Assisting field investigations and providing construction oversight by following safety policies and a thorough understanding of specifications and thorough documentation of contractor activities and safety procedures.
• Assisting in the preparation of various regulatory submittals, technical memorandums, and/or engineering design reports.
• Managing, analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting data for use in reports and other visualizations including maps, charts, and 3D models.

• Bachelor's degree in geology, environmental science, or related field from an accredited program.
• M.S. preferred.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working around construction equipment and/or in a construction environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with and a working knowledge of CERCLA, strongly preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, ArcGIS, CAD, or database software preferred.

• Competitive salary range: $50,000 - $55,000 a year.
