Maintenance Technician


As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Execute preventative maintenance schedules with thorough documentation.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including components such as belts, motors, photo-eyes, and relays.
  • Manage and organize department inventory effectively.
  • Be capable of lifting up to 49lbs and remain active during shifts that may last up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
  • At least 2 years' experience in repairing material handling equipment.
  • Experience of 2 years or more in conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • 1+ years of experience in metal and wood fabrication.
  • 1+ years of experience in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • 1+ year of knowledge in electrical and electronic principles.
  • Experience in procedure-based maintenance (PM).
  • Ability to utilize and interpret statistical equipment run metrics such as OEE/Up Time for prioritization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher from a vocational institution or college focusing on Mechanical or Electrical fields.
  • 2+ years of apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Electrical fields.
  • Familiarity with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and safety regulations.
  • Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Knowledge of computer networking systems and infrastructure.
  • Experience in robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance.
  • Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions, including low voltage signal tracing and logical device troubleshooting.
  • Basic proficiency in using the Linux command line interface.
