Job Description

In this role as a Service Technician - Light Construction Equipment, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of light construction equipment at various Home Depot locations. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in servicing construction equipment, with knowledge of preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor mechanical repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair a fleet of rental equipment at multiple store locations or customer job sites.
  • Perform routine visits to inspect equipment and document status, complete work orders, and perform all required preventive maintenance.
  • Train Home Depot store associates and customers on proper equipment operation and safety procedures.

You will be working closely with regional managers to plan and align short-term and long-term goals, and making travel requirements up to 10% of the time. The minimum qualification is a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred qualifications include prior experience in equipment maintenance, valid driver's license, and strong communication skills.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. As a service technician, you will enjoy a comfortable environment with moderate physical demands, including lifting, standing, and bending.
