Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and processing histology specimens using various methodologies and complex machinery. You will also prepare slides for Pathologist review by cutting prepared blocks of tissue using complex machinery.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process histology specimens using various methodologies and complex machinery
  • Prepare slides for Pathologist review by cutting prepared blocks of tissue using complex machinery
  • Work collaboratively with the Pathology team to ensure accurate and timely preparation of histology specimens
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree in Histotechnology or related field preferred
  • 1+ years of experience as a Histology Technician
  • Strong knowledge of histology techniques and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
