The IR Lab Technologist plays a vital role in the preparation and provision of care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing radiographic interventional procedures.
As a key member of the healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment and providing technical assistance to physicians during procedures.
Under the direct supervision of the Physician or APP, the IR Lab Technologist may function as a sub-circulator and contribute to the smooth operation of the interventional imaging department.
Requirements- Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework in Radiologic Technology
- One year of related experience in Interventional Imaging, with a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures
- ARRT certification or equivalent, with additional certifications in CT, VI, or RCIS desirable but not required
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program
- Minimum one year of experience in Interventional Imaging
