Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Weekend Days

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in medical imaging? We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center located in Norfolk, VA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Radiologic Technologist to work weekend days, performing diagnostic imaging studies of patients under the direction of a qualified physician. The ideal candidate will have a trade school graduate in Radiologic Technology and be registry eligible or registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician.
  • Position patients for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operate radiation producing equipment, and prepare patient room/equipment/medications.
  • Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both Radiology and Lab.
Requirements:
  • Trade School Graduate in Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT, Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must obtain ARRT registry within 180 days of hire.
  • BLS
