Job Summary

Safeway is seeking a Production Worker to join our team. As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for working in our manufacturing plants, supporting the production of various food products. Your duties will include selecting food products, packaging food and beverages, sanitizing and maintaining machines, and operating power equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to ensure the efficient production of food products
  • Select and package food products according to company standards
  • Sanitize and maintain machines and equipment to ensure a safe working environment
  • Operate power equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow company policies and procedures
